¡El autobús loco!

November 19th, 2010 nmmari12

Everyday I have to take a city bus to school with the majority of the other Spanish university students. The bus is usually filled to the brim, with people standing and clutching for dear life onto the handles as the bus drivers speed down the highway and charge down the campus hill (that is actually bigger/steeper than Mount St. James). I am always scared to death, that one day the bus isn´t going to make it to my piso (apartment). In fact, yesterday, the bus didn´t make it down the hill. The infamous bus was speeding down then hill when right before the science building, as it whipped around the corner, it flipped and landed on its side! Thankfully nobody was in it, and the bus driver was not hurt. I just really hope that after this, the bus drivers slow down. Here is a link to the news article about the terrifying flip! http://www.lavozdegalicia.es/coruna/2010/11/17/00031290018651096234105.htm
